5 Steps to Simple Eating

1. Increase your water intake. This will decrease your intake of sugary drinks.  
                                               
2. Eat clean veggies. Clean means vegetables in their whole form, not fried or breaded etc.

3. Make real meals. Resist the urge to purchase processed foods.  Processed foods are made to sit on the shelves for years without rotting.  Real food is fresh and will perish!

4. Cut out artificial dyes. If you are looking for behavioral/digestive health changes this is a must.  You will notice a big difference.  Join our No Dyes Campaign on Facebook!

5. Think outside the box.  Apples, cheese, peanut butter and carrots can be a meal.

 5 Fun Tips

1.  Find a fun glass with a straw just for drinking water.

2.  Have your kids pick the veggies for a stir fry.  Don't worry about trying new things.  Pineapple and peppers might be amazing together!
3.  Choose 1 new recipe a week as a family.  If cooking is not your thing, choose a recipe from a kids book as they typically have less ingredients and are faster to make.

4.  Make your dinner colorful!  Set the table with either colored plates or napkins.  

5.  Go on a picnic
.  Kids love eating in new places.  Instead of going out to eat at a restaurant, go out to eat outside!
